Well, 2 more games to go.. The fight is really tough.. Chelsea is sitting on the edge with a 1 point lead. There's no way Arsenal is going to catch up wat ever way possible. Both the contenders, United and Chelsea, are going to play the remaining games as if they were cup finals. Both teams wouldn't want to miss any stupid chance of screwing up their hopes for the title. Liverpool has had a consistant run of screwing up the whole season. But the whole setting of the the champions lie in the hands of the scousers. A draw with Liverpool will send Chealsea to 2nd place and United go top if they beat Sunderland away. The most dramatic season is coming to an end with an even bigger drama. As i said not long ago,

Run in the Rain!!

A little girl had been shopping with her Mum in Target. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout.. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target.

We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I got lost in the sound and sight of the heavens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child came pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day.

The little voice was so sweet as it broke the hypnotic trance we were all caught in 'Mum let's run through the rain,' she said. 'What?' Mum asked.

'Let's run through the rain!' She repeated

'No, honey. We'll wait until it slows down a bit,' Mum replied.

This young child waited about another minute and repeated: 'Mum, let's run through the rain,'

'We'll get soaked if we do,' Mum said.

'No, we won't, Mum. That's not what you said this morning,' the young girl said as she tugged at her Mum's arm.

This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?

'Don't you remember? When you were talking to Daddy about his cancer, you said, 'If God can get us through this, he can get us through anything!'

The entire crowd stopped dead silent. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain. We all stood silently.
No one came or left in the next few minutes.

Mum paused and thought for a moment about what she would say. Now some would laugh it off and scold her for being silly. Some might even ignore what was said. But this was a moment of affirmation in a young child's life. A time when innocent trust can be nurtured so that it will bloom into faith.

'Honey, you are absolutely right, Let's run through the rain. If GOD let's us get wet, well maybe we just needed washing,' Mum said.

Then off they ran. We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and yes, through
the puddles. They held their shopping bags over their heads just in case. They got soaked. But they were followed by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the way to their cars.

And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing.

Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever take away your precious memories. So, don't forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories everyday. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.

SELAYANG : “Inspirational, Fun, Extraordinary!” These are just a few words expressed by the 45 participants who attended the Youth Camp themed Stand By Me held at the Church of Christ the King, Selayang from July 25 to 27, which was also attended by youths from its sister Church of Christ the Light, Kepong.

This Camp made history as the first ever using a foster family concept which enabled participants to experience the true meaning of family, sharing and responsibility. Its five Sessions conducted by Ben Savarimuthu from Desa Jaya, Laura Joseph from Asayo, Pathinathan from Rawang and Augustine from Christ the Light were interspersed with thought-provoking games, skits and videos, heart-to heart chats about conflicts and misunderstandings in families and ways to overcome them, getting the best out of the Media, the Bible, Teamwork, Praise & Worship. Other highlights included the “Sarung Nite”, where participants were asked to perform thematic skits to express their creativity and talents. They were also put on “Mission 007” where they were to “look out for one person” throughout the Camp.

Among the feedback gathered from participants included:

Robin Christopher, 19, felt that “the media session was life changing. I realize that media has both positive and negative influence and it’s up to me to decide which affects my life.”

Vimal James, 19, confessed that he was “deeply touched by the lyrics of some of the songs played at the Camp”.

The Camp ended with a Mass, where gifts were given to the Foster Families personally by the participants, in the presence of their Parish Priest, Fr Albet.

The 5 days was truly an one-of-a-kind experience. Let me take you on the journey with me..

DAY 1
(Thurs 9 July)

As usual, i woke up late in the morning. We were supposed to be at KL Sentral at 10am to take the bus to LCCT but Thomas, Richard and me were leaving Kepong Sentral at 10am.. :) *nothing-new* Met up with Jacky, Nick, Becca and Melissa there and took the bus. We boarded a bus that only had 7 seats left. I had to sit with some chinese aunty. The bus was supposed to depart at 10.30am but it was already 10.43am and the bus was still there..

We reached LCCT at 11.30. We didn't want to check-in yet because Charles wasn't there yet. When we about to check-in, Ric somehow couldnt locate his IC in the wallet. Ric and me ran to the Balai Polis there and made a complaint that IC hilang.. When we got back, our flight got "DELAYED".. *grins* So we were recheduled to take the 4.30pm flight..

This flight was the AirAsiaX flight. It was a little better than the other AirAsia planes. I think the last time i took the Boeing 737 if i'm not mistaken. This was pretty huge la..

But the only thing it didn't have was the people doing the safety instruction 'dance' thingy.. Every seat had a screen in front of them which had a video of the whole instruction thing.

The flight was 1hr 50mins long..

God really did a good job. Don't you think so?

Somethings you will never see in KL

Melissa and Becca stood firmly saying that Sg. Rejang was in Pahang.. Please slap them when you see them k!

Damn boring k..I sat with Ric and Becca and we had played Uno the whole journey.. Of course Ric didn't win a single game.. :) Everyone was given this magazine on board and one article really made me laugh.. AirAsia was too slow to realize that he already died.. hahahaha..

We reached Kuching at 7pm. Gary was waiting for us there.

Uncle Chai (Our local transporter) was also there. Gary than took us to some food court to have dinner. Food there is nice and cheap k!! We than took the 45 minute to the heart of Santubong where Sarawak Cultural Village is.. That night, everyone was pretty exhausted so kita minum sikit and went to sleep. I will explain all about where we stayed in the next post.. Till then, this is the end of Day 1.. :)

Rainforest World Music Festival 2009

Tomoro, at 11.15am, i board AK5208 to Kuching. My first edition of the RAINFOREST WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL. :)

The RWMF is said to be the best ever platform where world musicians come together on one stage to showcase their talents and bring music alive ride in the deep jungles of Borneo. Well, this is going to be better as i'm going!! :p

Me together with another 9 ppl are gonna be staying at concert grounds where certain longhouses have been made available for lodging. This is a plus point as we are definately experiencing atouch of the cultures of Sarawak is offering. And of course with a whole lotta booze.. :) Somehow feel am gonna be wasted.. *fingers crossed*

Some names that i'm waiting to check out are AkashA, Asika an Oudaden. The first two are local and the third is from Morocco. They have said to create a great fusion between Moroccan music and blues/funk.. That is definately somethign to look forward to. Besides that, the workshops seem to be very good.. Click here for a full list of performers.. so yea.. :p

Its been really some time since i went on a real holiday. Hope this will turn out fine. With Sarawak reporting it's 8th case on the H1N1 virus, i hope the alcohol will kill the virus.. :)

Manchester United have completed the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo. Finally he's gone. I somehow feel the exact same thing happened to Beckham will happen to this fella. The fee of 80 million pounds have been paid, and he's gone!! But i still have to say this, 6 years with United, he was truly a remarkable player. With United he became World Footballer of the Year. Let's just see what happens with this fella. Whether he continues Player of the Year or end up in some American Football League Club.

Antonio Valencia. A name to watch out this season. i hope. United's latest signing from Wigan Athletic and before that Villareal, has signed a 4-year contract and becomes the first buy of ManUnited this season.

Last weekend. A weekend of many surprises and awakenings.. Well.. Lotsa of episodes and drama's took place that i'm still wondering why it's all happening.. It all started with the death of Michael Jackson. Shit la thambi!!

Saturday morning Tom, Ric and i agreed to go and clean Thomas's apartment. It all started well as Ric and i woke up pretty late. Nothing new. :) We made a pit-stop in Sentul first to get some supplies and some measurements
I somehow feel this will be a cool look for the wedding rite? Some Mick Jagger-ish kinda look. New school.. hahaha SHIT LA THAMBI!!!

Anyways, yea.. Than we all set out for a far-far away land called Cheras. On that land, lies an apartment. In that apartment, lies a unit that Thomas bought. Some chinese dude and family lived there before. So everything was cina-fied. Of course there was abstract paintings done on the wall done by his children using colour pencil..

Lights in the Master Bedroom.. Some cina-tri-colour-effect i suppose.. lolx..

and of course the funky dirty bathrooms and 'foyer' (as thomas called it) that was covered with dirt, moss, dried leaves and sweet wrappers.. Dont ask me where that came from. We cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. and then we found this!!Some cicak died at the back of a cupboard centuries ago i think. Pretty cool eh.. :)

So yea.. Than we met with Stephatoinks later at night and played pool. I was feeling a bit hyper so i went cuckoo a bit..

We went and played some pool first. It was more like a practice since the next day was the Cousins Inc. Pool Championship.. We headed to the store and watched Michael Jackson Live in Bucharest which was playing on 8tv.. Drank only milk k.. SHIT LA THAMBI!!!

LIARS!! The bottle was hiding somewhere.. hehe..

Than came Sunday morning. As usual, aug woke up to go for morning mass in Christ The Light than straight after mass headed to St. Joseph's Church Sentul. It was Confirmation Mass there and my uncle was the official photographer.. Since he bought a new cammie, he asked me to come along to shoot together with him as he claims i'm good with capturing candid expression which turns out really nice.. So yea.. Of course i had to tag someone along with me, so my victim was Becs.. :p I was thinking she won't show up as it was kinda early for her and she came home late the last night, but surprisingly she came.. Came to the time of the Laying of hands, my uncle stood on the right i stood on the left. The plan was one person to capture the anointing and another to capture the 'tap' or the handshake.. so i was prepared to do such.. Pls note there was 67 confirmands.. Suddenly, Bishop blessed Father Stan and came down to the centre of the aisle and there was 2 lines for the laying of hands.. i was like eikkkk... this is not right.. So here i was halfway gaberah, shooting this pics.. It was very important pics and i so didnt want to screw it up.. And there's only one shot to this.. i cant ask them to come and pose again.. *which i did :p* came to one candidate, my flash didnt warm up in time and i couldnt take his pic.. Uncle Gabriel was behind me and so i told him if its possible to get that kid back in that line just to pose for the pic.. Which he did!!! lolx.. it was the funniest thing.. he stood in line and than when appraoched Father Stan,

Father: Hey.. Didn't i just annoint you?
Kid: No father, Uncle Gabriel asked me to come again.
Father: Huh?!?! Why???
Kid: Don't know.. He said for photo..

Father Stan looked at me and smiled.. hahahahaha!! First time in History k!! lolx.. SHIT LA THAMBI!!!

That went on well till the end.. Later Becs and me went to Midvalley to watch Transformers 2. I have a friend working there so i called her the night before and and asked her to reserve tickets.. But tickets for Transformers 2 was completely sold out right up to Tuesday night.. and this information, i only got when i was in the train heading to midvalley.. So had no choice and had to go with Terminator : Salvation instead.. Met up with Charissa and Damien Emmanuel.. When i went to collect the tickets, our hearts broke!! There was absolutely no damn ticket of any movie at all available. I was like Fuck!!!! sigh.. Damn heart-broken sial.. and plus the line was damn long.. pity them to go all the way and there's no ticket available..

We agreed to go for lunch. Went to this place called Spaghetti Bar or something.. Somesore Friday's/Chilli's kinda concept.. Stuffed out faces all nicely, the plan was to go play pool la.. Since i was meeting my cousins all ther for the pool tournament.. It was about 3.15pm.. Walking to Brewball, i thought just try another time la.. Just ask la if got ticket available.. He said he'll go check and come.. He came back and called me aside..

Joe: Chaa.. got Transformers 2 show at 3.30pm 4 tickets RM12 bucks.. wan or not??

*speechless* OF COURSE LAA!!!! And it was a fucking good movie!!!! SHIT LA THAMBI!!!

That was a damn good weekend i presume.. Of course i omitted all the drama along the way.. but at the end of the day, all you can say is one thing.. SHIT LA THAMBI!!!!

I feel very sad. Today has really been a very depressing day. Only yesterday i got my hands on Moonwalker (a movie he produced and acted in 1988). I sat and watched. In the morning, my brother gets a message from his friend saying Michael Jackson died..............

I grew up with his music. I remember my family had the VHS of the thriller video clip and we used to watch it all the time. I was very young then. When the part where he turns to the zombie happens, i will run and cry and hide somewhere. My family had a good laugh, i will have a good cry.

The reigning Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year has been the subject of much media speculation in recent days, with Real Madrid and Barcelona allegedly pondering a big-money move for the Serbian defender.

However, Vidic insists he won't be following Cristiano Ronaldo to La Liga.

Instead, the 27-year-old and has his sights set on more record-breaking success with the Reds next season.

He told the News of the World: "I am very happy here and next season we will start again. I have got no desire to go anywhere.

"People forget that when you join a new league you don't just have to adjust to the country, you also have to adjust to the style of football.

"I feel my game is well adjusted to England now and I want to play a part in a successful team next season," he added. "United can make it a record four titles in a row next year."

NOAH and THE ARK

In the year 2020, the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in Malaysia, and said: Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see the end of all flash before me. Build another Ark and save two of every living things along with a few good humans.

He gave Noah the blueprints, saying: You have six months to build the Ark before I start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights.

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard, but no Ark.

Noah! He roared. I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?

Forgive me, Lord, begged Noah, but things have changed.

First, I need to have a BUMIPUTRA PARTNER who is linked to UMNO. Then I needed a building permit from DBKL and also have to pay under-counter money to get the permit.

Then I've been arguing with the BOMBA inspector about the need for a sprinkler system.

My neighbours complained to The Malay Mail about the height of the Ark I was going to build and the next day it was in the headlines claiming that I've violated the neighbourhood building by-laws because my Ark is going to exceed the height limitations. I appealed to the magistrate and it was approved.

The Opposition then took advantage of the situation and said I was a government crony and they did nasty things with my face in the Internet. I don’t know how they managed to superimpose my face on a naked body with naked MP’s and portrayed it on the YouTube. Oh Lord you are the All Knowing and you know I did not take the photos of the MP.

Then there was another stop-work order even before I could start work. After that the Badan Cegah Rasuah arrested me for pornography.

I talked to a lawyer who looks like Ambitah Bachan -- talks like him, acts like him, but is not him. He said he knows the Chief Justice and the Prime Minister -- the Apa Nama -- and can clear my name but I have to buy them tickets to Australia.

After clearing my name I had to again go to the DBKL Appeal Board for a decision to allow me to build the Ark.

Then the government, after approving the plans, said I must use only SIRIM approved goods and that I must buy from their list of CLASS F Bumiputera contractors and their prices are 15 times more expensive than the Chinaman hardware shop.

Then TNB and JPJ demanded that I post a bond for the future costs of moving power-lines and other overhead obstructions to clear the passage for the Ark 's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us but they would hear nothing of it.

Getting the timber for the Ark was another problem. SUKHAM and the JABATAN HUTAN NEGARA said that there's a ban on the cutting local trees in order to save the Orang Utan.

I tried to convince SUKHAM and JABATAN HUTAN NEGARA that I needed the wood to save the Orang Hutan but they said no go.

When I started gathering the animals, JAKIM and an animal rights group sued me. JAKIM said I cannot put the chickens and the pigs next to each other as it WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED HALAL and the animal rights group insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will. They argued that the accommodations were too restrictive and that it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space.

Then JABATAN KERJA RAYA AND JABATAN KAJIAN dan GALIAN ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an Environmental Impact Study on your proposed flood.

I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many Bumiputera contractors I'm supposed to hire for my building crew.

JABATAN IMMIGRASI and RELA are checking the status of most of the people who want to work.

The trade unions say I can't use my sons. They insist I have to hire only union workers with Ark-building experience.

As I started to clear the area to build the Ark, six gangsters came and demanded protection money. They said they will control the area for the selling of drugs and the supply of prostitutes to my workers.

When I complained to the POLIS, the next day the IGP sent an ASP who came in full uniform. Unfortunately he also happens to be one of the six gangsters who were demanding protection money and so he doubled my protection fee.

Then there was a by-election and I was forced to become an UMNO member to get my permits approved and was made to pay a donation by the Barisan Nasional candidate in the so-called spirit of MUHIBBAH. Otherwise they will make life difficult for me.

Every department I turned to is asking what they call “Kopi Wang”.

I calculated that if I paid all the so-called “Kopi Wang” and also give them the donation they ask, the cost to build the Ark will be 20 times higher. But I refused to give them the “Kopi Wang” as I am faithful to you Oh Lord.

Then some top-level politicians became very disappointed with me for not giving them the donations and they started calling me a Murtad. I told them my name is Noah and not Murtad and they got very angry and said they have connections.

Suddenly I became a suspect in the murder of a Mongolian lady because the place where she was murdered happens to be on the land where I am going to build the Ark and I was then arrested.

To make matters worse, the Jabatan HASIL seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species. I have just been released from ISA.

So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to finish this Ark.

Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow stretched across the sky.

Noah looked up in wonder and asked, you mean you're not going to destroy the
world?

These are two great teams, of course, and obviously there are big expectations, but you must remember that finals are not for playing beautiful football. Finals are made to be won.

One thing that I want to say is that Chelsea deserved to be in the final. Barça are a top team but they were unable to be better than Chelsea. Were there bad decisions? Yes. Where Barcelona lucky? Yes. But they are still a super team and they kept their belief until the last second.

The Chelsea players deserve to be happy, they have almost been European champions for the last five years and there is always something strange connected with the almost. I am sad for them but Barcelona and Manchester United will give the world a great final.

I think both teams are very clear in their philosophy. They have a game model, a tactical approach, a style of play, that, while very, very different, is established and automatic.

In this aspect there will be no surprises in the final: Man Utd will be Man Utd and Barça will be Barça. They believe in their way of playing, and in finals the mental approach is much more important than tactical aspects. Tactical aspects are details, but mental approach is the key for finals. Both teams want the cup, and both are confident they can get it.

People have said that there is a big difference between the experience of Sir Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola. Experience? What is that? For me, if you are good, you are good at 35 and you are good at 65. It is the same for a player, if you are top at 20 you are also top at 35.

Of course, Sir Alex is in his third Champions League final and Pep in his first as a manager. But when you are at the very top, you feel very comfortable in these moments. We love these moments. Remember, I was only 41 when I got to the Champions League final with Porto and won it.

So, will Pep be a bit more emotional than Sir Alex because this final represents so much for his young career? Yes. But Sir Alex is a man of soul and heart and he will have the adrenalin that we all need to be at the top level in these moments.

He is a super manager and a victory or a defeat in this moment of his career doesn't make him better or worse – he has had a great career. But of course if he wins on Wednesday it would make him the greatest club manager.

Sir Alex has made a super team. Three Premier League titles in a row and two Champions League finals – that is really top. They have quality and experience, with Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.

They have absolutely everything as a team in this moment: strength, mentality, speed, magic, solutions. Beating Arsenal in the semi-finals didn't impress me too much. It is normal. But three Premier League titles and two Champions League finals – you need no more words to explain how strong they are.

Of course, they have a special player in Ronaldo. He can be everything, play everywhere in attack, in any tactical system. What a player. When he plays as a striker, which Sir Alex likes him to do in big games, he doesn't need to defend so much.

Rooney is much more adapted to the 'defensive sacrifice', especially when the opponent's full-backs are very strong in attacking. There are many times when Rooney does not get the credit he deserves.

So, as a striker, Ronaldo is much more fresh and has more freedom to move and create. As a winger, he is incredible facing a defender when he has the ball. You look at his dribbling, his creation, his diagonal runs, his crosses, his heading and shooting when he goes inside, it is incredible.

Daniel Alves is out of the game, suspended, so it is easier for Sir Alex to decide who to play in the attacking positions. Alves is crucial for Barça. His width and Lionel Messi going inside are automatic for them. I feel sorry for Alves, he's a super player, and I also think the game will lose something without his dynamic.

I think against Alves, Ji-Sung Park for sure would have been used by Ferguson to control him. Without Alves, a United winger can now just be an attacking winger. So, on the left it will be Rooney or Ronaldo. But, of course these are opinions. The decisions are for Sir Alex. And normally he decides well. Very well.

If Barcelona will miss Dani, Man United will miss Darren Fletcher. Fletcher is more important than people think. His work in midfield, especially in the midfield 'wars', in crucial matches is very important. Man United will miss his pace and aggression in defensive actions: he 'eats' opponents in defensive transition.

In possession he is not magic like Ryan Giggs or a superb passer like Paul Scholes, but he is dynamic, he makes movements, he creates spaces. I like him a lot and I believe it is not an easy decision to replace him. I believe Xavi and Andres Iniesta are happy Fletch is not playing.

I know from experience how good this Man United team is from when we played them in the Champions League in February. Against them I think, especially at Old Trafford, we did very well because we controlled their transition, we closed the wings very well, we had control of the game with ball possession, we created some difficulties for them by playing in between the lines.

But at set pieces they are very strong. And Barcelona are even weaker than my Inter in this area. This could be a key point.

We have just won the Serie A with Inter but I know United are better than us. But we were very close to beating them. So, if we improve, we will be close, very close to the teams from the Premier League next season.

But it is very difficult to get players. One player who would improve us at Inter is Ricardo Carvalho. He is not playing at Chelsea now, and it looks like Alex is in front of him. Maybe it is better to let him come here and play.

It's been actually a while since i wrote something here. hmmm.. Well, internet connection was something i didn't have for a long time. My modem at home blew and i have been broke ever since. So yea..

My brother got hitched!! lolx.. Well, legally he's married.. Anthony Thomas got registered to Jaclyn Sharmelee on the 8th.. The wedding prep is slowly crawling and showing its face one by one.. Seems like it's going to be a busy year.. well until September.. More updates to come on this..

I got a new bike.. :) weeeehhoooo.. Been cracking my head on what to name him since all my other bikes were named.. Cupid - WQP.. Wiggy - WGY .. The plate is WSM. There is no other name coming to my mind besides WiseMan or Sam. Both also doesn't sound nice.. Sounds very yucky and old.. So if u have any names, please do comment.. thanks.. :)

Went to Penang for Fondacio Asian Youth Gathering. It was 9 days long k.. Becca and me went there. It was so last minute but it was fun. Both of us went for the sake of getting away i suppose cause none of us had a clue of why were we going. Becca missed Melissa's (her cousin) 21st Birthday to go for this.. So yea.. A whole load of drama k..
A total of 51 people from all over Asia namely Malaysia, Phillipines, Vietnam, Laos, Brunei, Myanmar, Japan, China, and Cambodia came together to share the lives they go through building youth communities for God. It was great to have this oppurtunity to share with other youths who face the same problems i face. To see people with a more difficult living conditions made me realize that what i face here is 1/10 to what they have to face. Many places in Asia, faith cannot be practiced openly, authority constraints, language barriers, lack of resources and poverty are among the many problems faced. Here, we take things so lightly and still complain.. No joke k... The people i met, the new various actions songs i learnt :p, the connection i created with many all over Asia is certainly priceless.. The best part was i found the reall words for Mandaleya.. hahahaha... No need to sing my version anymore.. :p
We were all placed with foster families. I was lucky to have to have 2 foster families. John & Mabel and James & Kathleen. Both wonderful families as i felt really blessed to be with them. I did feel like home because of the care and hospitality showed.. THANKS!!! I ate like a pig when i was there!! a total of 8 heavy meals a day!!! A real pandi.. :p But food was great.. no regrets of eating so much. I even met Lim Guan Eng, Chief Minister of Penang. We went to have some sea coconut i think and he was there sitting in the hawker stall in the market with his whole family.. Nice guy.. :)
I left with a heavy heart but with a whole mind filled with experiences to share.. and of course some tau sar peah!! and pork floss!!! :p

GLORY GLORY MANCHESTER UNITED!!! Winning the Premier League again do certainly brings a huge smile to your face for days. I rather celebrate winning the Premier League 11 times than the 18 times champions. Liverpool have never smelt the inside of the trophy and i feel it's going to be such for a very long time.. hahahahaha!! Champions League Final next week.. That's gonna be fun to watch. Am not sure where i'm going to watch it.. Maybe i'll dye my hair red.. waddya say???

Barred my dad's line with a 6 hours call, then he got so frustrated, he cancelled the line.. sigh.. It all seems so like it happened yesterday.. 13 June 2008.. Had to brush our teeths during recess at primary school? Had to hold plastic cups, line up with your classmates side by side and start brushing our teeths at some open area... or maybe near some drain??

Do you still remember that we had 'dentist' rooms where we had to have our teeths check?

Not to forget our 'program minum susu' in primary school.. Everybody is supposed to buy like cartons of milk that costed 30 cents.. and you would see everyone drinking it everyday... Its the UHT milk...

The teachers who would want to punish us must use yellow rulers to hit us on our palms?? 1 metre length..

That a bowl of mihun soup or some soup only costed 50 cents at the school canteen...went to some sundry shop near the school or to the 'roti' man waiting outside our schools so that we can buy junk foodlike chickedees, mamee, ding dang with some toys in it, 'Ti Kam', ice-cream and we would play games like monopoly, uno, old-maid, and all other card games like that...

Another fun time would be during Pendidikan Jasmani. the boys would play football while the girls would play netball... and it would be like we were playing in the world cup...but of course the best would be main guli, batu seremban, bottle caps, ice-cream sticks, 'Pepsi Cola one-two-three', Cops and Robbers, main kejar-kejar duduk, getah... and for the not so active, those kind of 'bookgames' where we would use buku latihan to draw and ask our friends to play...

Do you remember the ice-cream tubes which are actually ice and colouring that are sold for 10 to 20 cents.. the colourful ones.. where you usually bite off the top to glup it down. Orange tastes the best..(pop-ice)

What about days when we felt like doing naughty things such as folding papers so small to make 'lastik' amd shoot each other... how about throwing chalks?? back then, micheal jackson was just turning white.. and still had albums coming out.. compared to CD's, we were listening to tapes that sold for RM9.90...in computer class, we were still using black and white computer moniters.. played 'Atari'... maybe SEGA or NINTENDO..well, are we all getting older or what?

Cristiano Ronaldo writes off Ferrari in Manchester crash

The footballer Cristiano Ronaldo wrote off his red Ferrari today after colliding with a barrier on his way to training with the Manchester United team.

The front of the £200,000 599 GTB model was crumpled in the smash and one of its wheels lay 200 yards behind the battered vehicle in a tunnel near Manchester airport this morning.

A witness said the Portugal international walked away from the wreckage with no sign of injury. “It is amazing he got out of it without a scratch,” said the man who asked not to be named.

Another driver in the tunnel suggested that Ronaldo’s footwork may have deserted him as his supercar’s engine roared.

Jodie Lomax, who was in a car behind, told BBC Radio Manchester: "I was driving behind going under the Manchester Airport tunnel when a Ferrari in front of me dropped a gear. It was an awesome sound. I put my window down to listen to the exhaust. It sounded absolutely superb. Then the Ferrari went straight into the wall.

"His front left-hand wheel came off and then Ronaldo got out of the car. I was shocked. He was all right. He was walking. I was stunned to see the Ferrari go into the wall and then seeing Ronaldo. He was all right. He was obviously shocked. Who wouldn't be? It's a shame about the car as well."

He was involved in the accident as he drove on the A538 Wilmslow Road this morning. At around 10.20am his car crashed in the tunnel which takes traffic under the airport runways between Wilmslow and Hale in Cheshire.

No other vehicle was involved although the United goalkeeper, Edwin van der Sar, was travelling behind Ronaldo in a Bentley at the time. The players were driving to the Carrington training ground from their homes in Chester.

Ronaldo passed a breathalyser test at the scene after speaking to police officers but he faces a further interview by police investigating the accident.

The footballer has reportedly spent £2 million pounds on fast cars since joining Manchester United five years ago. As well as the Ferrari, he is thought to also own several Porsches, a BMW and a Rolls Royce Phantom with a personalised CR7 number plate that cost around £150,000

Hey.. Happy new year. It's been some time since i actually wrote something here. Too many responsibilities came barging in at once. Well, it's all done with and it's all good. 2008 ended in a very good note and got a whole set of 12 months to look forward now.

Love and Life 08 was truly 'awesome'. This one was filled with lots of emotions as i can safely say that that was one of the most emotional LnL's that really made a difference among the 8 i attended. So yea.. Being in the core team this time was not something easy. Firstly not being a facilitator was the hardest thing i had to give up. But my journey in understanding myself better was to happen and yes, i did learn loads of new stuff. From people to responsibility, there's a whole huge big sack of experience which will i never forget.

2009 is going to be a bit different. A fewer drama's (i hope) and lots more of things to remember by. So yea.. CHEERS TO 2009!! weeehhooooo!!!

The following is an actual question given on University of Washington chemistry mid term.
The answer by one student was so 'profound' that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well:

Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume
of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.

This gives two possibilities:

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, and then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.

2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over. So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, 'It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,' and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct......leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting, 'Oh my God.'

A married man was having an affair with his secretary. One day they went her place and made love all afternoon Exhausted, they fell asleep and woke up at 8 PM. "Where have you been?" his wife demanded.

A middle-aged couple had two beautiful daughters but always talked about having a son. They decided to try one last time for the son they always wanted. Anders Celsius was a Swedish astronomer. Chaim Azriel Weizmann was a Zionist leader, President of the World Zionist Organization, and the first President of the State of Israel. He was elected on February 1, 1949, and served until 1952. JIMI HENDRIX ( 27 Nov 1942 - 18 Sept 1970)

James Marshall Hendrix (called Johnny Allen Hendrix by his mother for a time, and generally known as Jimi Hendrix) was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter whose guitar playing was a considerable influence on rock music. After initial success in Europe, he achieved fame in the United States following his 1967 performance at the Monterey Pop Festival. Later, Hendrix headlined the iconic 1969 Woodstock Festival.

Hendrix helped develop the technique of guitar feedback with overdriven amplifiers. He was influenced by blues artists such as B.B. A very upsetting match. The Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics Men Single's Badminton Finals, Lin Dan, China (World Ranked No. 1) vs. Lee Chong Wei, Malaysia (World Ranked No.2). This would have been Malaysia's only hope for a gold medal for this year's olympics. This would have resulted Malaysia's first ever gold medal in the summer olympics. It was a very good match i would honestly say. Both players gave their best but Lin Dan emerged as the winner. There was alot of pressure on Chong Wei. The first gold medal for Malaysia, the hope of 26 million Malaysians, majority of that stadium cheering for the opponent.. sigh.. I would say he played very well and carried the Malaysian flag high. I would like to share a story with you told by a man which is most frightening yet thought-provoking experiences of his life.

He had been on a long flight. The first warning of the approaching problems came when the sign on the airplane flashed on: "Fasten your seat belts." Then, after a while, a calm voice said, "We shall not be serving the beverages at this time as we are expecting a little turbulence. Please be sure your seat belt is fastened."

As he looked around the aircraft, it became obvious that many of the passengers were becoming apprehensive. Later, the voice of the announcer said, "We are so sorry that we are unable to serve the meal at this time. The turbulence is still ahead of us."

And then the storm broke. The ominous cracks of thunder could be heard even above the roar of the engines. Lightening lit up the darkening skies and within moments that great plane was like a cork tossed around on a celestial ocean. One moment the airplane was lifted on terrific currents of air; the next, it dropped as if it were about to crash. The man confessed that he shared the discomfort and fear of those around him. He said, "As I looked around the plane, I could see that nearly all the passengers were upset and alarmed. Some were praying. The future seemed ominous and many were wondering if they would make it through the storm.

And then, I suddenly saw a girl to whom the storm meant nothing. She had tucked her feet beneath her as she sat on her seat and was reading a book. Everything within her small world was calm and orderly. Sometimes she closed her eyes, then she would read again; then she would straighten her legs, but worry and fear were not in her world. When the plane was being buffeted by the terrible storm, when it lurched this way and that, as it rose and fell with frightening severity, when all the adults were scared half to death, that marvelous child was completely composed and unafraid."

The man could hardly believe his eyes. It was not surprising therefore, that when the plane finally reached its destination and all the passengers were hurrying to disembark, he lingered to speak to the girl whom he had watched for such a long time.

Having commented about the storm and behavior of the plane, he asked why she had not been afraid.

The sweet child replied, "Sir, my Dad is the pilot and he is taking me home."

I wish I had that same faith and trust of that little girl. And this is what we say a 'child-like trust'. True, I have nothing to worry, my Dad (my God and Saviour) is the pilot of my plane- life's journey!

The role of The Joker was seriously played marvelously well by this man. From playing roles such as a young peasant wanting to follow his dream in becoming a knight - Sir William Thatcher/Ulrich von Lichtenstein (A Knight's Tale - 2001), to this gay boy - Ennis Del Mar (Brokeback Mountain - 2005), to this fabled romantic man branded a fornicator and love machine - (Casanova - 2005), I really think he couldnt have pulled off being The Joker. The pastor and his son

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the
Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts.

This particular Sunday
afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the
streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring
down rain.
The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, 'OK, dad, I'm ready.'

His Pastor dad asked, 'Ready for what?'

Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out.' Dad
responds, 'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain.'

The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, 'But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?'

Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.' Despondently, the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go? Please?'

His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son.'

'Thanks Dad!'

And with that, he was off and out into the rain. his eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST TRACT. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted.

Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell. He rang the bell, but nobody answered. He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.

Finally, this eleven year old trooper turned to leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch! He rang again and this time the door slowly opened. Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly asked, 'What can I do for you, son?' With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that *JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU* and I came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about JESUS and His great LOVE.'

With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave. She called to him as he departed. 'Thank you, son! And God Bless You!'

Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he asked, 'Does anybody have any testimony or want to say anything?'

Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet. As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face, 'No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before. You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world. Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that I came to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.

So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I was about to leapoff, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me. I thought, 'I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.' I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.' I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder.

When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.' Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand.

As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more.

You see---I am now a Happy Child of the KING. Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU to God's little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell.'

There was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts of praise and honor to THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated. He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably. Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor for his son. Except for One!

Our Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to The King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named.

Funny Church Moments

Somethings that would have happened in front of your eyes. This kinda drama happening is church during mass especially will stay in your heads for a million years. Like for instance the visiting priest comes 45 minutes late because he went to the wrong church. Than everything he does even the way he speaks is funny. I am sure you have had your fair share of funny church moments. I bet you're thinking about it and laughing now. Hehe. Well, anyways, this is damn hilarious!! :p

This date will be jotted down in my autobiography when i die. A day with full of surprises. A day that could be one of the most significant days in my life. This day, many things happened. Many things that i can and i am smiling about. A day that showed me what kind of joy, excitement, celebration that life can show to you when you think that it's all falling down. So, 13 June is when i stood up and and started jumping around like a crazy monkey in this field full with millions and millions flowers which have bloomed so beautifully and snow is falling on my head. This is all happening rite in the middle of June. You may think i am a little crazy but than, i think you are so very wrong. I'm just a lot crazy. lolx. Anyways, thank you Father for showing this day to me. For letting me feel special. Letting me feel loved. Letting me feel excited about life. Thank you.

Last Wednesday was something that i'll never forget in the next 20 years. lolx.. The 2 Smoking Barrels (will update you on this) decided to take have a boys night out. That was the time we heard that Scarlet was launching a new themed night - Bubblegum Wednesdays. The best part was there's gonna be a free flow!! Being true indians, we all agreed for it. An being true indians again, we suppose to meet at 8.30pm at The Curve but only got there at 9.40pm. So we all rushed to Scarlet le.. Only reaching there we found out that the free flow was going to end at 10.00pm.. Babi sial!! Of course we didn't get any free drinks. Was very frustrating!! hmmm.. so we all chipped in some cash and bought like 8 cans of Anchor Strong.. We were sitting at the fountain across Laundry and drinking la. Than Roshan gets a call from the Scarlet DJ saying that there's gonna be a dance competition and then prize is a Black Label. And the catch for that competition was that it was a Michael Jackson dance comp. We all showed our 96 teeth!! :D Aaron was with us and that fella is the most-die hard-MJ-fan i have come across.. So Roshan and Aaron went to Scarlet first. Left Jude, Simon and me.. and that two monkeys couldn't drink anymore. so i finished up all the remaining cans. Already there was a level of highness.. :p I was wanting to go Scarlet to support Aaron la but Jude kept saying "5 mins.. 5 mins la macha".. So we were still sitting there talking cock.. Roshan comes down angrily, "Dei, why didn't come up? We lost laa!! No one cheered for Aaron.. You'll are dogs laa!! okok.. nvm.. Let's go up. WE GOT A BOTTLE TO BLACK LABEL TO FINISH!!!!" Wooohoooo!!!! And the rest was history.. :p

I got so wasted i puked in front Laundry. :s Poor cleaners. Well, it was a fantastic night out!! Kudos to Aaron!! THANKS BRO!!!

I traveled using the KTM Komuter for 3++ years. To and from college that time. So basically, i knew the A to Z about trains. From arrival times to where it'll stop in between stations to the pack-ness of the coaches to the level of smelly-ness it can get. :) So anyways, it was quite a relieve that i didn't have to rely on it anymore since the arrival of Cupid in my family (for those who are wondering who on earth Cupid is, keep wondering). After watching the clip above, made me to realize that what ever i experienced the KTM Komuter is only 10% comparing to what's happening around the world. Damn! Can you see the guards around the station just stuffing everyone inside. LMAO. Imagine getting stuck in that place. The smell would have already killed millions. Haha.. I really can't stop laughing. This is damn funny. Kudos to KTM for still allowing us to have some civilized method of traveling.

And we have done it once again!! Premier League Title in our hands! Champions League is also in sight. Sigh. It's gonna be a great season for the devil! Most probably the cup will be carried this week at Old Trafford during the clash with West Ham. 21st May 2008 will be another date that will be projected in record books as Manchester United and Chelsea step into The Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. With everyone with no major injuries, i'm very sure that the Devils and gonna send the boys in blue back home sobbing. Only 2 times has Manchester United lift the Champion League trophy in 52 years of this championship. This year will be the 3rd! Paul Scholes, missed the chance to play during the 98-99 season due to suspension, has already booked his seat in the starting line-up. Chelsea on the other hand has not carried this trophy. Both teams will and is gonna bring out every play they ever have and every dirty trick in their book. This is the first all-english final and this is gonna be an exciting match where you will have to pee in a cup for not wanting to miss any single minute and moment of this game! Be sure to watch this game!!

This was a chun-ted concert!! I had the most awesome-est experience!! This was the next concert in line after Backstreet Boys. And from all aspects, this concert was the bomb compared to BSB. From performance to the sound quality to the lights, FUHH!!!! Of course i went for this concert only knowing two songs of the band, Africa and Rosanna. I really didnt know who on earth Toto was besides the connection of both songs. Although Thomas and i reached quite late, they just started their 3rd song. Thanks to the damn good seats we had, we experienced this 70's rock band like no other person has experienced before (not forgetting the people who were sitting with us). :p The keyboardist was also damn power!! He had like 6 keyboards and he was f***ing good!! he went on for a 20 mins solo and it was just damn sial-ly f***ing good!! hmmm.. bila la i boleh main macam tu.. sigh.. i finally found something that completes me. Was online the other day with Navina and this girl do send me songs like always.
